Is Spring Shell still supported?

Spring Shell is an amazing project, thanks so much for that! I was wondering if there's a plan to keep supporting it (e.g. updating the dependencies and supporting newer Spring Boot versions).

Yes good question. There are a lot of CVEs in this project today, and I would need to fork it and upgrade dependencies myself otherwise, which I don't really want to.

Yes! v3.4.1 has been released: https://github.com/spring-projects/spring-shell/releases/tag/v3.4.1.

And we are planning to release a major version 4.0.0 later this year to align with the rest of the portfolio: Spring Framework 7 and Spring Boot 4, keep tuned.
