Is the documentation for navigation setup up to date (tabs)?

Hello All,

The documentation for tabs setup states that we should add the following lines to the mkdocs.yml file:

theme:
  features:
    - navigation.tabs

This did not work for me. I have searched for issues related to tabs and so that people were using:

theme:
  name: material
  features:
    tabs: true

The latter worked for me. Is it the correct way?

The documentation always refers to the most recent version and it's always recommended to use the latest version. The configuration that works for you is the configuration of Material for MkDocs 4.x. We're now at 6.x, with 7.x around the corner. The upgrade guide lists all necessary changes.

Thanks, as I was not listing any specific version on my requirements.txt file, I assumed that pip was installing the latest version.
I did a pip list inside the container that was built and here are the versions I am currently using:

mkdocs                     1.1
mkdocs-material            5.1.6
mkdocs-material-extensions 1.0b2
pymdown-extensions         7.1

I'll check the upgrade guide.
