TOC depth on a per-document basis

Hello community,

I want to customize the table of content depth on a per-document basis. This question is not new and was already ask here #2532.

I used the following customization, that only #, ## and ### are shown in table of content (TOC).

My markdown docs/technical_concept.md:

The result looks this but the gaps between ### headings with hidden #### sub-headings in TOC are different.

I also commented on #7978 but they referred me to the community.

So maybe someone here could help me to reach my goal with correct rendering of TOC when some headings are hidden.

Ok, I found a solution myself.

Instead of using this code in every document ...

... I added this to my custom css.

In my markdown docs/technical_concept.md I can use the custom ID #### Cisco C1161-8P { #hidden-header } to hide a specific header.
