When I use mkdocs, version 1.6.1 , I got search and git repo star not show.

issues require a specific minimal reproduction built with the info plugin, this is a non-negotiable, this is not the place to ask to investigate your website for issues.

Having said that, the issue seemed simple, so I did check the site out, and found the issue and found this is not a bug, therefore converting to a discussion...

Checking the web dev tools on your website, shows that your page doesn't download the bundle.js, it's missing from HTML.

This means you have added a customization to your page, an additional script, and removed the default scripts.

Do not forget about the super() inside the scripts block to include the bundle.js
