The headline feature of the latest update is Base support, but Status v2.33 also brings another key integration—Mercuryo as an in-app fiat on-ramp provider. This allows users to buy crypto directly through Mercuryo, including subscriptions and recurring purchases.
Additionally, this release introduces the watch account feature, gives users the ability to select transaction speed (Normal, Fast, or Urgent), and updates the app’s token list to ensure access to the latest tokens for seamless operations and swaps on supported chains.

Desktop Features

  • Integrated Base chain
    • The user will be able to send, bridge, SWAP, and use DApps on Base, which is one of the most active Ethereum L2.
  • Added Mercuryo on-ramp provider
    • The user will be able to buy crypto with Mercuryo on-ramp provider, including recurring crypto purchases
  • Easy selection for Normal, Fast, Urgent fee.
    • The user can quickly define how fast they want their transaction to go through by selecting the Normal, Fast, or Urgent fee option.
  • Users can change transaction nonce.
    • It is an advanced feature to manage the transaction order manually, resubmit stuck transactions, etc.
  • Added price for the receiving token in SWAPs.
    • The user will be able to see the approximate price for the receiving token when executing a SWAP.
  • Added a watch account feature.
    • The user will be able to add an Ethereum address to watch.
  • Added the SWAP feature on the Trading Tab.
    • The user will be able to access the SWAP feature from the main app frame, hence, this will enhance SWAP visibility and accessibility.
  • Added a 'Max' button.
    • Allows users to instantly fill in the maximum token amount available in their balance with a single click.
  • Updated app token list.
    • The users will have access to the most up-to-date token list, allowing them to operate and swap the latest tokens on supported chains.
