I might be experiencing the same or a similar issue:
• If I create a map with my Insta360 (equirectangular) and perform localization with the Insta360, it works perfectly.
• If I create a map with my phone (perspective) and perform localization with the phone, it also works perfectly.
• However, if I create a map with the Insta360 and try to localize using the phone, I don’t get any matches — no errors are reported.

Could someone clarify the best approach here? The following information would be especially helpful:
1. Is it possible to create a map with an equirectangular camera and then localize with a perspective camera?
2. Are there any official documents or guides covering this workflow?
3. What are the key pitfalls to watch out for? For example: grid settings, camera intrinsics, or other parameters.

2. Nothing official that I know of
3. The main one mentioned in the thread was being careful what resolution your perspective camera is and maybe getting the calibration parameters right
