Converting a String to JSONContent for Initial Value in Novel Editor

Currently, the Novel Editor only accepts JSONContent as the input for initialContent. How can I convert a string into the required JSONContent format to set it as the initial value?

https://tiptap.dev/docs/editor/api/utilities/html#generating-json-from-html not sure if this is ideal. It would be better if you can supply it directly to the editor, but for some reason I couldn't get it to work.
