Don't use strikethrough text to cross out checked list items

A strikethrough makes the text difficult to read.

Possible Solution

Remove strikethrough or make it optional (off by default).

The checkboxes are handled by BlockNote so I'm closing this one. I suggest you open an issue on their repo as it will benefit everyone not just Docs : https://github.com/TypeCellOS/BlockNote/issues?q=is%3Aissue%20state%3Aopen%20strike
