What is Svelte future, will it continue to be developed and maintained for years to come? Or it might just be abandoned at any moment and that would be it? Can Svelte be safely bet on?

Probably best to ask general questions in the chat: https://discord.gg/yy75DKs. This repo is for the https://svelte.technology website.

That said, it's an open source project; if it continues growing in contributions and community it will continue to be developed, especially so if larger businesses begin to adopt it. Vue.js, a similar open source project, is really thriving because of corporate adoption — it would be great to see Svelte move in the same direction.

Svelte can do Custom Elements, so I think its future is solid. I'm considering it for a medium-sized global company. HyperHTMLElement and LitElement also look promising.

IMO pre-Custom Elements era solutions (React, Vue) are more likely to die if they don't embrace Custom Elements.
