I was hoping a loopback feature could be added to the current Sankey chart:
https://www.sankey-diagrams.com/loopbacks-in-sankey-diagrams/

It would allow re-recruitment into parts of sequences optionally via nodes:
https://www.sankey-diagrams.com/sankeys-with-circular-links/
