Cannot run yazi via fish shell using hyprland shortcut.

Currently, I have yazi bound to bind = Super, E, exec, foot -e yazi. When doing this however yazi fails to read up on some setting on my fish shell, such as the default editor (nvim) and the system scheme (I se caelestia dots), however when openng terminal and running yazi it functions correctly.
