The application “ExifCleaner.app” can’t be opened.

macOS: Download the .dmg file

Download the .dmg file, not the -mac.zip file. Then install from the .dmg file

I believe this is what you are encountering because this is what happened when I first opened the application:

So I looked up How to Fix 'Cannot Be Opened Because the Developer Cannot be Verified' Error on Mac
and got:

1. Open Finder.
2. Locate the app you’re trying to open.
3. Control+Click the app.
4. Select Open.
5. Click Open.
   The app should be saved as an exception in your security settings, allowing you to open it in the future.

I followed the steps and the app is now working.
