Under programme details mentioned in the contract, one of the points is:

• The mentoring program will commence on 1st February 2024 and conclude on 30th September 2024 [The proposed dates are subject to changes with a possible variation of ±1 week depending on external factors.]

So we should get back to them by January 31, latest

Timelines :

1st Jan – 28th Feb : Project & mentor nomination

• 31st January’24 : Identify relevant projects that you would like the contributors to work on and submit them
• 15th February’24 : Refine the problem statements (based on feedback) as per a common benchmark
• 28th February’24 : Identify & allocate mentor(s), who have a technical understanding of the projects, for the shortlisted projects

1st – 31st Mar : Project Finalisation & Mentor Onboarding

• 15th March’24 : Provide documentation and setup guides for the project that will help the contributors understand better
• 31st March’24 : Set up project repositories and list projects in the form of issue tickets on GitHub as per the SoP

1st April : Public Announcement

1st Apr – 15th May : Contributor Applications Period

15th – 31st May : Final Cohort Selection & Project Mapping

1st Jun : Inauguration

1st – 7th Jun : DPG Bootcamp & Cohort bonding

1 Jun – 31st Aug : Coding Period

Date of Payment :
Participating organizations are required to make the payment of their share of the stipend after the selection of contributors and on the basis of the number of projects being listed by the organization, i.e., 10th June 2024.

Payment is 50,900 per contributor.
