i686 build still linked against OpenSSL1.1 #1340

I am currently using a really old laptop and wanted to try tectonic there.
I installed MX Linux 23.6 32-Bit (which is a Debian derivative). This machine has openssl3 installed.
After trying to start tectonic, it says it cant find libssl.so.1.1 and libcrypto.so.1.1 ... even if I make a symbolic link from libssl.so.3 to libssl.so.1.1 it gives ./tectonic: /lib/i386-linux-gnu/libssl.so.1.1: version 'OPENSSL_1_1_0' not found (required by ./tectonic)

So it seems like the i686 build does not link against OpenSSL3. It would be nice if this could be fixed upstream... On this old laptop I am not too fond of building tectonic myself, but maybe I will try.
