Im struggling pretty bad getting everything up and running. my revolutions/mm wont dial in, distances traveled change when a different feed rate is selected, sometimes it takes 3 clicks for one movement to happen, and the DRO numbers change before any axis move. ive gone through the "one sender to rule them all" blog post but its not covering everything.

Probably backlash. Do you have antibacklash nuts you can tighten?

The machine is tight. It’s not a fresh build, I’ve been running it for a few years now but my controller went bad. I wanted a plug and play controller because I don’t do well with code or really anything that takes me to a GitHub to be honest. But after reading about some of the extra features grblhal has over grbl, I decided to go for it. Understanding a lot of the setting in the grbl settings tab in IO sender is what I’m looking to find out.
