Custom Battery Capacity (kWh) when new and Custom Max Range when new doesn't save values

What happened?

Greetings, I tried on localhost, tried it in browser, but it doesn't wanna change the values. I can set it for now, but after a while/a refresh it goes back to the "original" fake value (no idea where it came from, misreported first charge)

Hi, thanks for reporting.

This is expeced behavior. You can click edit in the dashboard, enter your values and save it with your values, or wait till we introduce a setting and DB entry for it.

I think i edited in dashboard too, but it never got saved. After a close and reopen, it's again 0 value

Than you are not using TelsaMate 4.0.1 or modified your dashbaords so you do not get latest grafana from TelsaMate.
Edit and save is possible since #4338, so roughlty 2 years.

You can do the following to really get the latest TeslaMate Grafana:

• a backup, see https://docs.teslamate.org/docs/maintenance/backup
• delete your grafana volume
• docker compose pull
• docker compose up -d

Beside of this: I noted is as a feature request as this is not good UX and we will definetifly improve on this.

Nope, I started the setup after teslamate 4.0.1 got released, i even have mcu2

Even in docker using grafana latest
