/usr/bin/jackd -dalsa -dhw:Device -r48000 -p1024 -n3


Put this into /.jackdrc to pick sound card by name. 
Names are from cat /proc/asound/cards
My cheap USB sound card is named "Device"
If in trouble change this to -dhw:2
corresponding to device numbers from aplay -l
