The map should be a tool that gives the user the most relevant information needed for selecting a good placement location. There are several ideas floating around on how to improve it that I have listed here.

An important step is to make both easy and possibly required to to enter information about the camp (purpose, theme, noise level, etc.). Maybe also add max. decibel to sound.

Questions to ponder:

  • How to communicate that a placed polygon is a neighborhood ?

  • Is making the

  • How to communicate that a placed polygon is a public space ? And how to priorize accessible space for public dreams and areas?

  • Make it easy to get a sense of sound levels

  • Make it easy to communicate what type of experience is being offered etc

To be clear I don't think all or really any of these ideas need to be implemented this year - but its a good task to focus on that would help all users a lot. Feel free to break it out into smaller issues
