Hello Popeye maintainers,
First of all, thank you for keeping Popeye alive – it's a remarkable tool for chess composition.
I’ve recently created a functional WebAssembly port of Popeye. It allows users to run the engine directly in a web browser, with no need for installation or native compilation. This version is based on an old source code version and compiled via Emscripten.
i showcase it in a little demo published on www.caissarev.xyz. It basically is the same of pywin but via browser. i was wondering if this is a proper usage of the codebase and or can be somewhat merged in latest versions of the codebase.
The code is open because of gpl restrictions.
Thanks again for your work on Popeye – I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!
Warm regards,
Federico Pruneri
