Add attachment without :original file

I use Paperclip uploading to AWS S3 and need only my :thumb and :small. But it also uploads :original, so increases s3 disk space and make additional requests.
Is there option not to upload :original attachment?
I saw this question stackoverflow but monkey-patching is not excellent way and it doesn't work if I use process_in_background :image
