I suppose I'm reporting a performance problem. I set very long scrollback history, which may have an effect, although the continuum directory only uses 13MB.

I didn't find similar issues in open or closed lists or searches.

I also faced similar issues, the tmux was becoming extremely slow after a short period of time. I don't know whether it was happening during the saves, but in my case, it didn't get better after it was getting slow. I use the default scrollback history in my iterm2 config, ie. 1000 lines.

Sadly had to disable the plugin :(

UPDATE: After an update of my dependencies, I no longer have any issues with speed. My current versions:

  • iterm2: Build 3.5.5
  • tmux: 3.5
  • tmux-continuum: 0698e8f
