Hi, I have discovered 2 issues with the tool (using it on Mojave).

One is a visual issue, at times when selecting a note, the edit window will only display a certain amount cutting one of the last few lines in half horizontally (please find screenshot attached).

The other one appears when trying to select a note from the list above the editing window. From time to time it randomly jumps somewhere else in the list, almost as if it moved the selected note out of sight - this only happens occasionally and I have not been able to catch it and record it in action.
The second problem is more just an annoyance, the first one however makes it difficult, sometimes impossible to read the notes due to the last few lines going missing.

I've regularly had a variation on the first problem with 2.2.8 (128) in Sierra and High Sierra (currently using the latter). Rather than the bottom of the note being cut off, the newly selected note does not fully erase the previous one, i.e. old text below the note you wish to view is not removed, so you have a full new note and then below (by which I mean to the south, not two layers of overprinted text) is the remains of whatever longer not was visible before.

(I've not experienced your random selection problem.)

I have the same issue as wturrell. nvALT 2.2.8 on Mac OS 10.15.3. It does not matter if I navigate the notes list by clicking a note, using arrow keys, or using CMD-J or -K.
