The queued posts knowledge base page just says:

You can store 1,000 posts in the queue at a time.

The Tumblr Premium page says:

Higher limits: Double the previous limit of published posts per day (500), queued posts per day (2,000), likes on posts per day (2,000), and photo, video, and audio uploads per day (500, 20, and 20, respectively)

It's thus currently ambiguous whether:

a) Is there a limit (of 1000, I assume) on queued posts per day, or just on number of currently queued posts?
b) Is there a limit on queued posts per blog, or per account? (If the latter, not sure how that would work with group blogs, so I assume it's the former, but it would be good to clarify this)

Normally I would test this, but that's way too much activity to bother generating :D
