URL(s) where the issue occurs.
There isn't one specific URL that the tab pops up on, it happens either at random intervals or from triggered events (or so I believe) it makes tabs like "There is an update for Google Chrome" or "Its time to clean up your browser data". The address of the tab when it is created is https://www.chromeactions.com/scan-update-and-protect-your-browser.html (there are other urls depending on the version of the tab that is loaded)
Description
I have the Magic Actions for YouTube extension installed and it really is a very nice extension that helps with Youtube and I have grown quite fond of it and all the customizations it offers. However, the extension is now equipped with a maddeningly frustrating new feature that I find impossible to deactivate, called "AI-Based Helpful Reminders". At random intervals, a new tab will open, and it will display a page reporting "A new version of chrome is available" or "It is time to clean out your browser data" and other general bullshit. There is an option within the extension's options page which allows you to uncheck the box next to "AI-Based Helpful Reminders", having you believe that you have disabled the feature, but the option is always enabled upon your next visit to the options page.
I was hoping that there was way to block these pop up reminder things in any other way. Could someone please lend me some assistance with this frustrating feature?? Any help would be greatly appreciated and cherished.
