Add x-y specified (region) to the scatter-gather location specifications

Proposed Behaviour

We have almost all the code to let users specify exactly where (x,y regions) they want the pattern to be instantiated. We should add the remaining documentation to allow users to directly specify this and get the proper rr-graph.
