App won't open

Describe the bug
When I click on the app icon or my homepage widget, the app tries to open and freezes.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to homepage and click widget or click on app icon.

Expected behavior
Expected app to open so that I could set an alarm.

Additional context
This happened a couple of months ago. Uninstalled and reinstalled and it was ok,but I lost all my customised settings.

When this next happens can you get a logcat? What kinds of alarms and timers did you have set?

FYI there is a backup -> export/import option you can use

Thanks for the reply. I haven't uninstalled and reinstalled yet, but when i try and open it, it hangs on the startup screen with no option of any menus. ( I'm assuming i need to get onto the menu to get the logcat) Is there another way? From memory I had 2 alarms set Friday and Saturday nights 11.30pm and 11.59pm. If you're not familiar it can be a bit involved to get logcats, here is one tutorial

#516 did provide a logcat and it's likely you ran into the same issue. I've generated a potential fix, feel free to try it out with one of the 2 recent Robust Serialization builds in my fork here.

If you test it without clearing your app data that would be ideal, but since I am not vicolo-dev, it may not let you update your app with mine and instead require uninstalling first. If you had a working version, my build should support importing backups from the official builds like v0.6.0.
