Does this project not ready yet?

I cannot use it normally using npx https://github.com/acoliver/llxprt-code and npm install -g @vybestack/llxprt-code.

pull fresh and try now. There were a couple bugs introduced yesterday that only affected new users (permissions on llxprt and the gemini provider was hanging)

I intend to publish stable releases and packages shortly. I'm trying to get the CI/CD working (porting that was the hardest part). For now, there may occasionally be glitches on the main but generally it does work.

so assuming you run the bundle and install you just type llxprt and it should come up!

if you have issues do llxprt --provider openai -i "say hi"

I've been working on gemini provider to prevent logins unless desired.

(you can then /auth and /provider gemini just it was hanging at startup earlier)

I get this effect after using npx https://github.com/acoliver/llxprt-code:

It doesn't display any interface, but pressing Ctrl+C twice can show the exit interface and exit normally. Maybe I should wait for the official release to try it.

npx https://github.com/acoliver/llxprt-code --provider openai

works. you're running into the bug with gemini provider that I'm presently working on. The release will be more stable. If you just want to go then you only need wait a day or two.

First of all many thanks four this promising project.

I tested just right now and below command:

npx https://github.com/acoliver/llxprt-code --provider openai

Returns below error:

I also tried:

npx https://github.com/acoliver/llxprt-code

And then:

/provider openai

But then error is another one:

✕ Failed to switch provider: Provider not found

I guess this project is under heavy development, so I will keep trying.

Final question: with openai provider, I should be able to use my local running ollama, right?

Oh man that was some bad luck. Because I'm debugging the CI/CD I have to push to main. You grabbed it at the exact moment I pushed to work on the github action. A minute before or after and it probably would have worked. But give it a day or so. I'll have an NPM release. Thanks for trying. BTW you can also get a picklist with just /provider.

There was a bug where it was looking for ~/.openai_key or OPEN_AI_KEY before registering the provider (I had all the keys set up in my environment for testing). This is resolved. I expect to have a package tomorrow. One more bug to fix (multi-line paste) and a few tests from CI and we're off to the races!
