Translation issues with German Umlauts

If you use the german translation ( btw informal version now translated to 100%) and go to Settings-Tax then
you can change the Country/State in "Base Country and State" and "Tax Rates" drop down fields.

Two entries have Umlauts and they are not represented the right way.

You read: "Th\xfcringen [Thuringia]" and "Baden-W\xfcrttemberg" instead of "Thüringen [Thuringia]" and "Baden-Württemberg"

I'm not sure where WPUF reads the translation of these states because those entries are not on https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-user-frontend/stable/de/default/

Please note that Issue 1527 about missing or not used translations is not solved.
As you can see on the screenshot there is still a lot of english text entries.

Thanks @AurelioSilver for reporting this issue in detail. We’ve investigated it on our end using the Loco Translate plugin and can confirm that the translation is working correctly, please refer to the attached screenshot for confirmation.

🔹 We've ensured that both the free and pro versions of WP User Frontend are fully translated to German (informal), which may be necessary for proper string rendering.

🔹 Regarding the state names like Th\xfcringen and Baden-W\xfcrttemberg: these entries appear to be coming from the WordPress core or WooCommerce base configuration, not directly from WP User Frontend. We couldn't reproduce this issue in our environment.

Also, please make sure you are using the latest version of WP User Frontend (both Free and Pro), as some translation-related improvements and fixes were added recently.

There seems to be a misunderstanding.

I'm not using the Loco Translate Plugin. I'm using the default installation of the plugin and the translations provided via translated.wordpress.org

Check it out. All strings there are translated but the plugin does not use all of them and some texts are also missing.

I'm working on the translation, so that users dont have to rely on a third-party plugin for translations.

Regarding: Regarding the state names like Th\xfcringen and Baden-W\xfcrttemberg:
Check this out without the translation plugin.

On my test site it happens with both firefox and chrome. And your support team has the login to this test site.

Ok, I just noticed that the free version uses automatic translations, but if you activate the pro version it does not...
