If you use the german translation ( btw informal version now translated to 100%) and go to Settings-Tax then
you can change the Country/State in "Base Country and State" and "Tax Rates" drop down fields.
Two entries have Umlauts and they are not represented the right way.
You read: "Th\xfcringen [Thuringia]" and "Baden-W\xfcrttemberg" instead of "Thüringen [Thuringia]" and "Baden-Württemberg"
I'm not sure where WPUF reads the translation of these states because those entries are not on https://translate.wordpress.org/projects/wp-plugins/wp-user-frontend/stable/de/default/
Please note that Issue 1527 about missing or not used translations is not solved.
As you can see on the screenshot there is still a lot of english text entries.
