Scid contributor Uwe has made some nice enhancements to Scid at his fork at https://codeberg.org/scid/scid/. I've ported some of them to scidCommunity like improving the board display by making board options available through a compact set of icons at the bottom, moving the material display to the top and bottom player labels, adding game end symbols etc. He also has a nice set of custom themes and icons that are now bundled in scidCommunity (under "Options/Themes").

I will look to incorporate more of his improvements over time.
