Feature suggestion
Detailed Description
I would like to request a feature to enable support for seeking (fast-forwarding and rewinding) when playing videos from Local Files in Kore. Currently, the ability to seek within locally stored videos is unavailable, making navigation within videos impossible.
Context
Being able to seek in local video files is important for users who want to skip intros, rewatch specific parts, or quickly navigate through content without having to restart playback from the beginning. This would make Kore more user-friendly and comparable to other media control apps that offer full playback control. Other users who play local media frequently would also benefit from smoother navigation and a better overall experience.
Possible Implementation
One possible approach is to implement support for HTTP range headers when streaming local files. This would allow Kore to request specific portions of a video file from Kodi, enabling fast-forwarding and rewinding without loading the entire file. The UI could then provide a slider or forward/back buttons that send appropriate range requests, allowing precise seeking in local video playback.

Note: Team Kodi will consider this item however we will not make any promises if it will be included.
