Utility to recreate grub-efi.cfg

It seems that there should be a utility that would allow generating the file /etc/grub-efi.cfg or /etc/grub.cfg.
Or a documented method on how to re-create this configuration files.

This doesn't apply to XCP-ng, which has its own handling of the grub configuration (inherited from XenServer)
