Basically, do I need any sort of subscription purchased on TWS or in interactive broker? I have not ever used this broker before so I’m just curious 👀

Yes you will need data subscriptions on IBKR for options trading. It's a few dollars a month I think depends on how many exchanges you subscribe to. But otherwise you will have snapshot data.
