Every time I copy text from a terminal window inside a Linux client (openSUSE Leap), the VNC connection in Xpipe immediately crashes.

Error message

An existing connection was forcibly closed by the host computer.

Environment

Source (VNC client):

OS: Windows Server 2025

Tool: Xpipe

Target (VNC server):

OS: openSUSE Leap

Desktop environment: KDE

VNC service: KDE Desktop Sharing

Tested VNC clients

Xpipe integrated VNC client

TigerVNC

Steps to reproduce

Connect to an openSUSE Leap machine via VNC using Xpipe

Open a terminal window

Select and copy any text

VNC connection drops immediately

Expected behavior

Copying text from the terminal should not terminate the VNC session.

Actual behavior

The VNC connection is closed as soon as text is copied.

Tried it with TightVNC, same issue.

Then it's probably a server issue

Just to clarify:

I tested TightVNC again, but this time outside of Xpipe (standalone client).
In that setup, copying text works without any issues and the connection stays stable.

So the problem seems to occur only when using VNC through Xpipe.

XPipe should just call TightVNC as you would do manually.

Can you try whether it makes a difference in xpipe to create a tunneled or direct VNC connection? You can create both at New ... -> Desktop
