I am using the IOIO for a quadcopter. When the quadcopter hits something the micro usb on the IOIO side gets disconnected but it seems that the IOIO does not notice and keeps giving the last input from the Android which in this case means that the copter runs uncontrollably until battery is disconnected.
I have fixed this by gluing the micro usb but it should have a software safety as well.
