• Updated browser (Firefox or Chrome)

Find a IIIF map

• IIIF Map Collections
• David Rumsey Map Collection

Georeference the map

• Allmaps Editor

Add the georef annotation to GitHub

• Copy the contents of the annotation
• Add to /assets/annotations

View the map

• Find the georef annotation on GitHub and copy the raw url

Annotate the map

• Tile Server instructions
• Or: https://allmaps.xyz/{z}/{x}/{y}.png?url=[url to annotation]
• GeoJSON
  • Meta > Add map Layer > Paste url

Save the annotation to GitHub

• Add to /assets/geojson
