[Feature] Mark files changed between current and upstream branch

It would be very useful to show which files are different between the two branches in the project view. I know this is possible with the default Differences pane but that only shows the files that are different between a manually selected branch. I think it would be nice if these differences were automatically highlighted or have an indicator next to the file in the default Project view.
