A custom profile field can have type "user":
https://zulip.com/help/custom-profile-fields#profile-field-types
so that the field's value is a list of users.

When showing custom profile fields on a profile page, we display these with the name and avatar of each referenced user.

If you try tapping on the name or avatar, currently nothing happens. Instead, it should take you to the profile page for that user, just like if you tapped the name or avatar of a message sender in the message list.

Hey @gnprice, it does go to the referenced user on my local.

Am I missing something here?

Another bug I noticed is that these profiles get stacked infinitely onto one another, is that something we want?

Hmm, indeed. Thanks for investigating!

@timabbott can you clarify what symptom you were seeing?

@yashrajpu we are yet to receive info from @timabbott as this isn't reproducible yet.
