  • use NetInfo for offline detection
  • behave differently with api requests (maybe not issue them?)
  • errors should be aware of this
  • change timeout behavior

Just edited the OP to be a checklist, and updated the checklist. I suppose this would be the issue to consider queuing requests to retry when back online, if we'd like to try that.
