Triphasic_Equilibria

This repository contains the experimental results, codes or molecular simulation files necessary to represent triphasic phase equilibria and interfaces of systems studied at the Cohesion Laboratory (Concepción University). At the time the systems included in this repository are:

Experimental Systems

  • Water + 1-Butanol + CPME: Containing experimental VLLE data and SAFT-VR-Mie modeling of its three-phase line
  • Water + 1-Butanol + DMC: Containing experimental VLLE data and triphasic IFTs, alongside the SAFT-VR-Mie modeling of the three-phase line and the SGT modeling of the interfaces
  • Water + 1-Butanol + MB: Containing experimental VLLE data and SAFT-VR-Mie modeling of its three-phase line (In construcction)

Molecular Simulations

  • Wetting Interfacial Map: Containing coexistence VLLE and interfacial tension calculations from molecular dynamics onto Type II and Type III Lennard Jones binary mixtures of equal size.
