Features:

Required:

  • Compute Shader (force & culling)
    ** Wind & gravity & recovery force
    ** orientation & view Frustum & distance culling
  • Vertex Shader / Tessellation Shader (according to the paper) / Fragment Shader (Lambertian shading)
  • Vulkan Layout and Descriptor Set create functions

Worth pointing out:

  • Wind force direction involves x coordinates of blades
  • Varying Tessellation levels according to distance in NDC space

Feedback:

Very interesting project! Challenging since new to Vulkan, but the framework is excellent.
