Purpose

  • Add next query-param to redirect users to the page they were originally on when clicking the "Sign in" button
    • e.g. clicking "Sign in" from the search page will send you to https://accounts.staging3.osf.io/login?service=https%3A%2F%2Fstaging3.osf.io%2Flogin&next=http%3A%2F%2Flocalhost%3A4200%2Fsearch

Summary of Changes

  • Add next query-param to auth service URLs

Side Effects

  • Doesn't seem to work when the next URL is a localhost URL, but should work for non-localhost URLs

  • Please check to see if after logging in, you are brought to the same page you were previously on before clicking "Sign in" button
