Sample data bundles and resources for Lumis beta testers.
Important: the data in this repository is fictional. The personas, medications, weights, and notes are all generated for testing purposes — no real user information is stored or distributed here. If you found this repository by accident, you can safely ignore it.
Five sample data bundles, one per persona. Each is a .zip containing a folder of CSV files in Lumis's import format. Pick the one closest to where you are in your journey (or whichever the tester coordinator suggested), download it, and import it into Lumis during onboarding to populate your library with realistic-shaped tracking history.
| Persona | Story | Window |
|---|---|---|
| Active titration, dense logger | Engaged tracker, 16 weeks of weekly Zepbound 5 mg → 7.5 mg with full daily logging. Real GLP-1 symptom pattern (nausea on dose days fading, food noise diminishing). | 16 weeks |
| Maintenance, lighter tracking | 24 weeks total: 12 weeks active (Zepbound 7.5 → 10 mg) → switched to maintenance phase → 12 weeks at goal weight on monthly microdose. Includes daily maintenance habit check-ins. | 24 weeks |
| Just starting | 4 weeks on Wegovy 0.25 mg starter dose. Significant nausea early, fading by week 4. Enthusiastic daily tracking. | 4 weeks |
| Long-term active, oral pill | 32 weeks on Rybelsus daily oral pill, gradual weight descent, steady tracking, minimal symptoms. | 32 weeks |
| Mid-journey, casual tracker | 30 days on Mounjaro 5 mg weekly maintenance dose. Lighter daily logging — protein/hydration daily, weight every few days, occasional notes. | 30 days |
Total: ~5 KB to 65 KB per bundle. Each contains seven CSV files covering doses, weights, symptoms, protein intake, hydration, habit check-ins, and day notes.
- Get the TestFlight invite. Your tester coordinator will send you a link to install Lumis from TestFlight. Install it but don't open it yet.
- Download the bundle on your iPhone. Tap the link your coordinator sent (or grab the right
.zipfrom this repo's Releases page). Your iPhone will offer to save it — choose "Save to Files" and pick a location you can find again (Downloads or iCloud Drive both work). - Open Lumis from TestFlight. Proceed through the welcome screen, then through the questions about your history, phase, and basics. Answer to match the persona you're testing — for the "active titration" persona, pick "I have history" + "Active phase" + Zepbound; for "maintenance" pick the corresponding answers; etc. The persona narratives above tell you what to pick.
- At the import-source picker (Screen 6): select Lumis CSV and tap Continue.
- At the file picker: navigate to wherever you saved the
.zipand select it. - Watch the import run. You'll see a per-source breakdown — doses imported, weights imported, symptoms imported, etc. Tap Continue.
- Post-import paywall. TestFlight builds use Sandbox StoreKit, so if you tap "Try Premium" no real charge happens. Subscribe freely if you want to exercise the Premium-gated surfaces (iCloud sync detail, reminders, advanced trends, maintenance alerts). Otherwise tap "Maybe later."
- HealthKit permission prompt. Decline or accept; the bundle data lives in the app's local store, not in HealthKit. If you want to test the HealthKit roundtrip path, accept and manually log a single weight in-app after onboarding.
- Done screen. Tap "Open Lumis" and you'll land on Today with your fully-populated library.
- HealthKit weight roundtrip won't be tested by the bundle. The CSV import writes to Lumis's local store but doesn't push weights to Apple Health. If you want to exercise that path, manually log a weight in-app after onboarding completes — Lumis will write that one to Apple Health as expected.
- The Steps ring on the Today screen will reflect your real step count, not the synthetic persona's. That's expected — Lumis reads steps live from Apple Health (if you grant access) rather than importing them from the bundle.
- MHMDA pre-onboarding consent screen fires for testers in Washington state. Acknowledge the consent dialog as you would real consent — that's a feature we want feedback on, not a bug.
- The bundle data is anchored to recent dates (most recent entry is May 7, 2026). If you import substantially after that, the data will look slightly stale. The tester coordinator can regenerate if needed.
The tester coordinator will send a feedback prompt separately. In general, things we're curious about:
- First impressions of the Today screen with realistic data populated
- How the dose cycle visualization, weight trend chart, and the three daily goal rings look with real history
- Anything that surprises you — copy that doesn't match the tone, charts that don't render right, transitions that feel off, errors that surface
- The post-import paywall flow: did the framing feel honest? Did anything pressure you?
- For the maintenance persona: how the phase switch + maintenance habit check-ins feel
- The reinstall flow (if you uninstall + reinstall after subscribing): does Lumis recognize you and pull your data back automatically?
Send feedback via the in-app "Send feedback" path (Settings → About & support → Send feedback) — that opens a Mail composer to feedback@lumistrack.com with diagnostic context already included.
The bundles are deterministically generated by a Python script using fictional personas. Weight curves are loosely modeled on published clinical trial averages (SURMOUNT-1 for tirzepatide, STEP-1 for semaglutide) so the descent shapes are realistic, but the specific values, names, day notes, and symptom patterns are made up.
The data does not represent real Lumis users, real clinical patients, or any actual person. Treat it as test fixtures — useful for previewing how a populated app will look, not as medical reference.
The medication brand names (Zepbound, Wegovy, Rybelsus, Mounjaro) refer to real FDA-approved GLP-1 medications. Mention of these names in this repository is for testing-fidelity purposes only — Lumis (the app) is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any pharmaceutical company.
- These bundles do not contain any real user data.
- Importing a bundle into Lumis writes the data to your device's local Lumis store. If you have iCloud sync enabled (Premium feature), the imported data syncs to your iCloud private database the same way your own logged data would.
- Lumis itself doesn't transmit any data anywhere except your own iCloud. Lumis has no servers. Apple operates the iCloud sync infrastructure on your behalf.
- See the full Lumis privacy policy for details.
The sample data bundles in this repository are released into the public domain — use them however you want for testing or reference purposes.
