Summary

This PR will resolve issue #1594 for modifying the issue template to ensure that more detailed information is captured surrounding feature requests. The goal is to save time when triaging, assigning, and implementing new features for the team and assigned maintainer. Key changes include:

  • Changes to the Use Case section, also making it required for improved clarity and quicker response times when triaging.
  • New Adoption Impact section
  • New Implementation Scope Section
  • New Business Value section (for the team to capture pseudo business value)
  • New Provider Readiness Section
  • New FOCUS Supported Features Section
  • Removal of the Desired Outcome/ Practitioner Impact Section.

The Process Improvements section includes:

  • A review checklist (potentially expediting triaging without overlooking specific criteria).
  • Suggestions for new labels
  • A short problem statement example for requesters to follow

Please incorporate the areas that add value to the feature request and triage process.
