Describe the bug

running a 26.2 fabric server using latest version of geyser and floodgate. bedrock client joining server to that error, bedrock skin showing default skin. tested with drm locked skins + custom uploaded skins. auth-type is set to floodgate aswell.

ERROR : Got disconnected from the skin uploader: failed to find the given code in combination with the verify code

To Reproduce

joined my fabric server on a bedrock client
java does not see skin, only bedrock
throws that error in console.

Expected behaviour

expected to see bedrock custom uploaded skin from java client.

Can confirm this happens reproducibly on our setup too — every single time this specific Bedrock player logs in, not intermittently.

Note: we're already on build #1245, which another commenter above reported as fixing the issue for them — but it's still fully reproducible for us on the same build (tested twice, immediate reconnect, identical error both times). Ruled out on our end as possible causes: server clock drift (<0.5s, confirmed via timedatectl) and outbound network/NAT issues (WebSocket handshake to wss://api.geysermc.org/ws completes in <300ms and stays stable). Happy to provide a Geyser dump or test a debug build if useful.

Can also confirm, bug is still happening on the b1245, i deleted the comment that it got fixed by the 1245 build
