What happened?

PageSpeed Insights reports unexpected third-party requests in the Network dependency tree for our page:

Europe’s Venture-Capital Gap: What Founders Should Do Differently Before Their Next Round.

We do not use or integrate with Vimeo, New Relic, or LEGO on this site. Two tests of the same page show different, apparently unrelated dependencies.

Example 1: Desktop — Vimeo requests

Desktop Report

The Network dependency tree reports a maximum critical path latency of 2,510 ms, with repeated requests to:

All these entries show 0.00 KiB. Our page contains no Vimeo embed, and a search of our website repository found no Vimeo references.

Example 2: Mobile — requests referencing LEGO

Mobile Report

The Network dependency tree reports a maximum critical path latency of 169 ms, with requests to:

Each request includes the following query parameter:

All three entries show 0.00 KiB. We do not use these services or connect to LEGO.

What did you expect?

The Network dependency tree should contain only requests belonging to the audited page and its actual dependencies.

What have you tried?

1. We have scanned our full repository for occurrences of the mentioned dependencies and confirmed they do not exist.
2. we have run Lighthouse 13.4.1 on Chrome Version 152.0.7977.76 where the reported error does not appear.

I have a similar situation here.

On mobile, it shows a request that is more alarming to a disposable mail 😅 https://api.internal.temp-mail.io/api/v3/email/ynff4h751t@olipii.com/messages

I spent the last couple of hours running scans thinking I was hacked. None returned any match.
