… test that is bizarre, after playing around it looks like two MersenneTwisters match through randn only for like 6 calls. I'm not sure if it's due to a batch randn call vs sequential, but it obviously shouldn't happen but I don't have a solution. However, it did lead me to look and find some bugs in perturb calls and associated tests which were fixed.
