This fixes a regression introduced in commit a5599e5, which breaks support for parsing transactions in `Rpt` files such as Bank to Customer Account Reports (`BkToCstmrAcctRpt`).
This prevent silent failures that go unnoticed when the document is not valid or unsupported.
