Welcome to the E.A.R.T.H. project! This application allows users to report and visualize environmental issues using AI-powered image analysis and geolocation.

Before you begin, ensure you have met the following requirements:
- Python 3.7 or higher
- A Supabase account and project
- An ipinfo.io API key
- A Google Cloud account with the Gemini API enabled

Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/yourusername/earth-project.git cd earth-project -
Create a virtual environment and activate it:
python -m venv venv source venv/bin/activate # On Windows, use `venv\Scripts\activate` -
Install the required packages:
pip install -r requirements.txt

Create a
.envfile in the project root and add the following environment variables:SUPABASE_URL=your_supabase_project_url SUPABASE_KEY=your_supabase_project_api_key GOOGLE_API_KEY=your_google_api_key -
Replace the placeholders with your actual API keys and URLs.

Run the Streamlit app:
streamlit run app.py -
Open your web browser and navigate to the URL provided by Streamlit (usually
http://localhost:8501). -
Use the sidebar to add new environmental reports:
- Enter a title and description
- Upload an image of the environmental issue
- The latitude and longitude will be automatically filled based on your location, but you can adjust them if needed
- Click "Submit Report" to analyze the image and add the report

View the interactive map to see all reported environmental issues.

Check the "Recent Reports" section to see the latest submissions.
