I was confused as to why my auth.authenticate call was returning with "unknown username" when I set my SIMPLENOTE_USERNAME to a proper Simplenote username.
It turns out, the Simperium API expects a Simperium username, not a Simplenote one. I have changed the sample code to reflect this.
