Mosh: the mobile shell
Because of package commands installation location, it is requirement to
explicitly provide mosh-server
full path:
mosh --server=/var/packages/mosh/target/bin/mosh-server user@remotesystem
Connecting from macOS client results in error: The locale requested by LC_CTYPE=UTF-8 isn't available here.
From Fixing mosh failing on MacOS, the solution would be to add the following line to your .profile
(or .zprofile
) and restart the shell:
export LANG=en_US.UTF-8 LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8
To run mosh on a Synology Router with SRM you need to manually install the Perl package provided by Synology on their download page
for RT1900ac
